Medical Call Center Jobs For Nurses
medical transcriptionist or information technology?
im currently studying information technology here in my home country philippines.. 2 years more and im done with this bachelor course.. since my girlfriend (soon to be my wife) is a nurse, im afraid that when we go to US i might not find a job as an IT there so im planning to take up medical transcriptionist course.. i really have no idea wether MT pays more than IT workers.. all i want is for me to have a job right away with a nice salary.. MY QUESTIONS ARE: will i have a hard time finding job as an IT? what jobs am i gonna have as an IT? and do i have to take up exams in order to work as an IT? because if it’s not that hard then maybe i won’t study as an MT anymore and work as an IT and maybe look for a second job as a call center agent or something.. please help me, im kinda anxious about this..
Here in the US most medical transcription jobs that are full time and pay decently are being shipped oversees. I would stick with IT, it has many more possibilities. Try signing up with some IT staffing firms here in the US and you could be working here before you know it!
